The Nineveh College of Medicine (NCoM) was established by a presidential decree in 2001 as the second medical college among the 22 colleges affiliated with the University of Mosul (UoM). Its establishment was in response to the growing need for qualified doctors in the governorate due to urban expansion, population growth in the city and its suburbs, and the increasing demand for medical services.\n\n<\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Following the official announcement of the establishment of Nineveh University (NU) in February 2014, the Nineveh College of Medicine and the College of Electronic Engineering were transferred from the University of Mosul to become affiliated with Nineveh University.
