Women in Islam and Their Role in Building Society\nOn the occasion of International Women\u2019s Day, the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the College of Medicine \u2013 University of Nineveh organized an awareness-raising event that included a lecture titled:\n\u201cWomen in Islam and Their Role in Building Society (The Path of the Muslim Family),\u201d\ndelivered by Dr. Sari Abi Al-Dewah Ji, in the presence of a number of faculty members and students.\n\nThe lecture addressed the pivotal role women play in building the family and society, the importance of empowering them academically and socially in accordance with Islamic values, and highlighted women\u2019s contributions across various spheres of life and their role in shaping the future of generations.\n\nThe event saw active engagement from the audience through discussions and questions, which underscored the importance of such events in raising community awareness and highlighting women\u2019s pioneering role in development and family building.\n\nThis event is part of a series of activities that the college is keen to organize to support cultural and social awareness and to strengthen the role of women in the academic and social spheres.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
