As part of a series of activities organized by the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Medicine \u2013 University of Nineveh, and under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mu\u2019min Junaid Al-Dabouni, an awareness seminar was held titled:\n\u201cToward a Psychologically Safe Environment\u2026 Together Against Bullying\u201d\non Tuesday, April 14.\nThe seminar aimed to shed light on the phenomenon of bullying and its psychological, behavioral, and social effects, particularly on students, while emphasizing the importance of addressing it within the university environment.\nThe seminar addressed a number of topics, most notably the concept of bullying, its types and causes, as well as its negative effects on mental health, academic achievement, and social relationships, in addition to methods of prevention and treatment and the promotion of a culture of respect and tolerance.\nThe seminar featured presentations by Dr. Jinan Saeed Al-Rahou, Dr. Abeer Wali, and Dr. Sari Abi, and was moderated by Dr. Osama Maysar. It saw significant engagement from the audience through discussions and questions.\nThe Psychological Counseling Unit affirms its commitment to continuing to organize these activities in support of mental health and to build a safe and stimulating university environment that fosters learning.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
