Goals and Tasks of the Career Development and Employment Unit
Developing Graduates' Skills
Contributing to the development and enhancement of graduates’ skills to match private sector requirements, aiming to reduce unemployment and integrate educational outcomes into the labor market.
Student Training
Training and equipping students with additional skills to integrate them into the labor market through the organization of workshops in coordination with Continuing Education.
Communication with Alumni
Maintaining communication with alumni through various channels to strengthen their connection with the college.
Follow-up with Top Students
Tracking all matters related to top-performing students in each department.
Preparing Electronic Forms
In coordination with the university’s Career Development Division, preparing electronic forms to enable students and graduates to enroll in training programs.
Student Databases
Creating databases for students and graduates interested in career development and employment programs, in coordination with the university administration.
Company Databases
Compiling databases of private sector companies and institutions including their activities, job locations, required specializations, and contact details.
Communication with Government Institutions
Establishing communication channels with government institutions to build bridges between graduates and the labor market, and to introduce the qualifications of our graduates.
Graduate Employment
Assisting in graduate employment, in coordination with the Career Development Division, by contacting public and private sector companies to find job opportunities that meet their aspirations.
Scientific Training Programs
Designing and implementing scientific training programs for students and graduates in collaboration with public and private institutions, in coordination with Continuing Education.
Analytical Studies
Preparing specialized analytical studies to update and develop curricula in line with labor market demands through a feedback mechanism.
Trainee Statistics
Compiling statistics that provide indicators on the number of trainees, their specializations, and employment rates to enhance planning.
Organizing Events
Organizing seminars, job fairs, and conferences to connect students and graduates with the labor market for idea exchange and job opportunities.
Job Opportunities for Graduates
Securing job opportunities for graduates, prioritizing those registered in the trainee databases.
Graduate Follow-up
Following up with students after employment to identify strengths and weaknesses, and submitting regular reports to enhance curriculum development.
Coordination with the University
Carrying out all tasks in coordination with the university’s Career Development Division.
