Active Academic Participation by the College of Medicine in the Medical Board Discussions at the University of Dohuk

Dr. Bassam Adwar Hanna, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and a member of the Mosul Center of the Iraqi Council for Pathology/Clinical Chemistry, chaired the thesis defense committee for Afand Abdul-Khaliq Sabri, a board-certified student in the Department of Pathology/Clinical Chemistry at the Dohuk Center. The defense took place at the University of Dohuk/College of Medicine on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. The defense committee consisted of the following members: Prof. Bassam Adwar Hanna / Chair Prof. Afan Hassan Mustafa (College of Medicine, University of Dohuk) / Member Prof. Hefi Muhammad Mahmoud (College of Pharmacy, University of Dohuk) / Member Prof. Shirwan Farman Saleh (College of Medicine, University of Dohuk) / Supervisor This participation comes within the framework of strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between the College of Medicine at the University of Nineveh and other medical and scientific institutions, thereby contributing to the advancement of scientific progress and the elevation of academic standards.
