In the Presence of the University President… The Faculty of Medicine Council Discusses Accreditation The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Nineveh held a council meeting attended by Prof. Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashadani, President of the University of Nineveh, with the participation of the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Dr. Moamen Junaid Al-Dabouni, and council members. The meeting addressed the accreditation file as one of the strategic pillars for the college’s development, during which the requirements for academic accreditation and mechanisms for improving the quality of medical education were discussed, in line with national and international standards. The Council also discussed ways to enhance the educational environment and improve academic outcomes, thereby fulfilling the College’s aspirations to achieve advanced levels of quality and excellence. This step comes as part of the College of Medicine’s commitment to establishing accreditation standards and ensuring the provision of a rigorous medical education that keeps pace with modern developments.
