To ensure the quality of academic accreditation, an expanded meeting was held today in the Science Hall at the College of Medicine, University of Nineveh, bringing together accreditation experts and the main committee, with the participation of the Surgery and Pediatrics departments. The meeting was held as part of efforts to monitor accreditation requirements and enhance the quality of medical education at the college.

The meeting addressed plans to develop academic departments, updates regarding curricula and exams, as well as an assessment of how these developments impact the educational landscape

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Momen Junaid, and attended by the Dean’s assistants for academic and administrative affairs, as well as the head of the Accreditation Unit. During the meeting, the importance of intensifying efforts to fulfill the accreditation requirements within the specified timeframes, in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation criteria, was emphasized.
