In a year in which the College of Medicine at the University of Nineveh is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its founding, it did not merely look back on a quarter-century of medical education and the graduation of doctors; rather, it chose to make this anniversary a launching point toward a new phase in the creation of knowledge. During the silver jubilee celebration, the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Nineveh, Assistant Professor Dr. Mu’min Junaid Al-Dabouni, announced the launch of the University of Nineveh Journal of Medical Sciences, intended to serve as a scientific platform that reflects the college’s commitment to promoting medical research and publication, supporting researchers, and opening broader horizons for scientific studies. The launch of the journal comes as a step in line with the college’s academic development and adds a new dimension to its achievements in medical education: establishing a culture of scientific research and disseminating knowledge to the scientific community.
