In celebration of National Tree Planting Day... Together for a More Beautiful Environment... In celebration of National Tree Planting Day... Together for a More Beautiful Environment... Tree Planting Campaign at the College of Medicine The College of Medicine at the University of Nineveh organized a tree-planting campaign within the college’s corridors, with the participation of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mumin Junaid Al-Dabouni, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ali Abbas Abdulkarim, and the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Shaker. This campaign was part of efforts to care for green spaces on campus and promote a culture of environmental conservation, as attendees participated in planting a number of saplings and trees to enhance the aesthetic and health-promoting atmosphere of the college environment. The campaign included a scientific lecture delivered by Ms. Badria Mufaq, Head of the Agriculture Unit, who highlighted the importance of urban agriculture as a green belt. Brochures were also distributed to faculty and students. This initiative reflects the college administration’s commitment to involving the university community—including staff and students—in environmental activities that help foster a spirit of teamwork and raise awareness of the importance of preserving nature and the university environment.
