As part of its continuing education activities, the College of Medicine at the University of Nineveh held an awareness lecture titled “Financial Fraud” on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in the college’s lecture hall, with a number of its faculty and staff in attendance. The lecture addressed the concept of financial piracy, its methods and risks, and ways to prevent it, with a focus on enhancing financial and administrative awareness and the importance of protecting funds and financial data from attempts at fraud and hacking. The lecture was presented by Ms. Nuha Nael Idris, Director of the Accounts Division at the College of Medicine, and Assistant Professor Mustafa Othman Al-Saigh from the Quality Assurance Department at the Presidency of the University of Nineveh. This lecture is part of the college’s efforts to promote financial literacy and strengthen secure administrative practices, thereby contributing to the protection of resources and data and fostering awareness among its staff and students.
