Assistant Professor Dr. Mu'min Junaid al-Dabouni, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Nineveh, participated in the second meeting of the Board of Directors of the Nineveh Health Department for 2026, which was chaired by the Director General of the Nineveh Health Department, Pharmacist Dalshad Ali Abdullah Shankali, and hosted by the College of Medicine – University of Mosul, in the presence of the deans of the medical colleges (Mosul Medical College and Al-Batoul Medical College), along with a number of health and academic leaders.

The meeting included a discussion of a number of administrative, technical, and educational issues, with an emphasis on the importance of strengthening cooperation between academic and health institutions, thereby contributing to the development of medical education, supporting clinical training programs, and improving the quality of health services provided in Nineveh Governorate.
