As part of efforts to strengthen the partnership between the University of Nineveh and healthcare institutions, the University of Nineveh’s College of Medicine participated in the renovation and reopening of the Martyr Dr. Ali Salah Fadhil Hall at Al-Salam Teaching Hospital, transforming it into a specialized academic environment to support teaching and clinical training for the college’s students. The university delegation was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Mu’min Junaid al-Dabouni, Dean of the College of Medicine, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Shaker, Academic Assistant; Dr. Ali Abbas, Administrative Assistant; and a number of faculty members. He noted that naming the auditorium after the late Dr. Ali Salah Fadhil embodies a tribute to his academic and humanitarian legacy and his outstanding contributions, which have left a lasting impact on the College of Medicine and Al-Salam Teaching Hospital.
The visit also included the college delegation’s participation in a meeting of the Board of Directors of Al-Salam Teaching Hospital to discuss ways to strengthen mutual cooperation, develop clinical training programs, and improve educational and health services in Nineveh Governorate, thereby enhancing the quality of medical education outcomes and serving the health sector
