حين تصل الملوثات إلى الجينات… كلية الطب تناقش أثرها في استقرار الكروموسومات 🧬

As part of the continuing education plan for the 2026–2027 academic year, the Division of Medical Biology at the College of Medicine—University of Nineveh—held a scientific workshop on Thursday, September 10, 2026, titled: “The Genotoxicity of Environmental Pollutants and Their Effect on Chromosomal Stability: Molecular and Genetic Perspectives” The workshop lectures were presented by M.M. Tamara Nihad Qasim and M.M. Israa Khalid Nafea at the Medical Biology Laboratory. The lectures addressed the molecular and genetic effects of environmental pollutants and their implications for genetic material and chromosomal stability, with the aim of enhancing the scientific knowledge of the college’s faculty and staff and raising awareness of the biological risks posed by environmental pollutants. This workshop is part of the College of Medicine’s efforts to promote continuing education and keep pace with scientific and research topics related to health and the environment.
