As part of the active participation of the faculty members of the College of Medicine – University of Nineveh in specialized scientific and medical activities at the national level, Dr. Bassam Ismail Al-Zuhairi, a faculty member at the college, participated in the final clinical exam for Iraqi Board students specializing in oncology, which was held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the Teaching Oncology Hospital in the Medical City of Baghdad.

The clinical exam is one of the key stages in the final evaluation of Iraqi board-certified physicians, as it aims to assess clinical competence, specialized knowledge, and the ability to manage medical conditions and make appropriate medical decisions in accordance with established scientific and professional standards.

This participation reflects the academic standing of the faculty members at the College of Medicine—University of Nineveh and their contribution to supporting specialized medical training programs and strengthening cooperation with medical and educational institutions and centers in Iraq, thereby fostering the development of medical expertise and improving the quality of health care.
