Under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Moamen Junaid Al-Dabouni, Dean of the College of Medicine, and under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Amir Abdullah, Head of the Department of Microbiology, the Department of Microbiology organized a scientific event as part of its second-semester program, consisting of a systematic lecture titled “Vibrio spp.” The lecture was presented by third-year student Shahd Muammar. The lecture saw outstanding scientific engagement from the students, reflecting their level of interest and active participation in the educational process. This activity is part of the implementation of the student-centered learning approach, one of the fundamental criteria for achieving international academic accreditation for medical schools, with the aim of developing scientific capabilities and presentation skills, and strengthening the role of students as active partners in the educational environment.
