The Silver Jubilee of the College of Medicine at the University of Nineveh was not merely an occasion to celebrate a quarter-century of achievements and memories; it also marked new academic steps toward the future. The College of Medicine at the University of Nineveh signed a scientific and academic cooperation agreement with the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, thereby strengthening ties and cooperation between the two colleges and opening new avenues for the exchange of expertise and collaboration in academic, scientific, and research fields. The agreement was signed on behalf of the College of Medicine at the University of Nineveh by Assistant Professor Dr. Mu’min Junaid Al-Dabouni, Dean of the College, while it was signed on behalf of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad by Professor Dr. Amin Abdul-Hassan Mana Al-Alwani, Dean of the College and Chair of the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq. This step coincides with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Nineveh’s celebration of its 25th anniversary (2001–2026), affirming that the jubilee was not the end of a chapter in the faculty’s journey, but rather the beginning of a new chapter of cooperation and academic openness with Iraqi medical schools. On this anniversary, we remember those who built the past and celebrate those who are shaping the present… and today we are signing partnerships for the future.
